Hi Jenn,

I am so happy that you have posted. Unless you feel an urgency regarding your temps, and as along as they don't continue to rise higher than what you have posted, .... I think tomorrow's appt. with your doc should be soon enough to address this and you can avoid a trip to the ER.

Should your temp go higher, I would treat it with aspirin or Tylenol, if you are allowed to take either of those until you see your doc. If it gets too high, I would call your doc's exchange, if they still exist, or whomever is on call.

I would have a different suggestion if you did not have an appt. tomorrow with a doc.

I don't know how much benefit there is in it, but I like to use a cool washcloth on my forehead when I have a fever. I guess I want to keep from frying any brain cells.

As to the "dummy",..... I am not always "dumb", just when I have a senior moment. Too bad those moments are coming more frequently as I age. I really don't consider myself "dumb" but there are times when I can do or say something that surely qualifies as a dumb idea. I think everyone is capable of having a dumb thought or moment at some point in time no matter how intellectual or how well educated. That's why they write all those "For Dummies" books.

As you can see, there are several of us following your thread and are concerned for you.

I am always wiped out after dragging myself to a doc appt. and I come home and take a nap. If you are up to it, please let us know how your appt. goes tomorrow. Rest first if needed, but, try to drop us a quick line when you feel able to do so.

Thanks.
