I definitely agree that 22lbs seems way to heavy to move around. I mean my wheelchair only weighs 16lbs and even it can feel light a beast on a bad day. I really couldn't imagine trying to toss around 22lbs. But I also don't have any walkers to compare the weight differences. I tried a walker a few times back when I injured my back at PT, but I just couldn't get it down. I never felt comfortable with it, we couldn't seem to get the height adjusted right, it didn't fit my stride length and it aggravated everything too much to try and shorten my stride to what felt like tiny baby steps to get around.
