The baby dedication went OK I guess. My kids go to what they call a 'seeker friendly' church. I am used to a good ol' gospel church singing The Old rugged cross. They have a praise band and there is no congregational singing on Sunday mornings at all because they don't want to make any 'seekers' feel ill at ease. So the format is very casual. Because this was on the July 4th, they had it outside. Well about a half hour into it, the praise band was still playing, it started pouring! So they went to plan B. We were all squashed in the foyer of thier large building.

But I know my kids will raise thier precious little one in the church. They are part of the leaders of the church. She is one of the childrens directors. She freaks me out when she says that they have like 200 children in the preschool department alone on a Sunday morning or Wednesday eve. My church doesn't even have that many people attending.
