Often problems with Shockwave arise if your version of Chrome is not up-to-date.
To check this, click of the three horizontal bars (top RHS of the screen) and then select "Settings". Then select "About" - Chrome will then check what your version is and, if necessary, install the latest one, which is Version 50.0.2661.102 m.
The update will automatically include the latest version of Shockwave.
There is a discussion of this here; How to stop Shockwave Flash crashing in Google Chrome - How-To - PC Advisor. Note that it relates to an older version of Chrome (46.9.2490.86 m) so, if your version of Chrome is not current, the instructions there about checking Chrome might apply to you.
