hi all,
i saw my pcp today & got some good news. i got my A1C down from 8.9 to 8.1.
not the 7 something i was hoping for but good news nonetheless. my weight has only dropped a few lbs but the A1C was more important.

she also gave me information on a new procedure called ReShape; a non-surgical weight loss procedure. i guess they place 2 balloons (by endoscopy) into your stomach. i don't know much more than that at this point. however, it costs $7000 & medicare won't cover it.

guess i'll have to do it the old fashioned was. has anyone heard of this?
i see my endocrinologist tomorrow so will get the plan for the next few months.
