Mark56 will be the man to ask. I hope you can get it sourced without issue.

Just a quick summary, I had the SCS implanted about two years ago. And all was well for a while. Until the battery in the remote died. Now I know that it was the battery because I took it to one of those places that fix cellphones. They hooked it up to their equipment and sure enough with no doubt about it dead battery. I'm sure that others have experienced the same problem.

My question is: Have anyone been able to find a replacement battery without having to get a whole new remote?

I had the guys at the cell phone fixit place try and see if they could find one with no luck, I tried myself, with the regular places to look eBay, Amazon, general computer part stores. It's like the battery doesn't exist. So weird.

I suppose a follow up question would be: Had anyone been able to retrofit a different battery into the remote giving it the amps and voltage it needs to operate?

Any information would help. Thanks much
