I had my original injury in 1995 (started in knees, traveled through both legs toes to hips because of late diagnosis and treatment), so it spread throughout.
Then in 2008, so roughly 13 years later it spread to both my arms/hands.
Yes, it can definitely spread!

- RSD both legs (late diagnosis, almost 3 years into RSD) & spread to arms/hands as of 2008
