Hello oojoaj: Welcome (back) to NeuroTalk! I just recently joined. I'm 68. I'm afraid I don't have anything to offer in terms of suggestions. I have a variety of things going on with me health-wise. But none of them are so severe that I have to rely on the types of prescription pain med's the DEA is cracking down on. I did have a kidney stone a while back. And I was grateful for a small prescription of OxyContin I received while I was dealing with that.

Here in Minnesota, where I am, I understand that individuals who struggle with intractable pain will soon be eligible for medical marijuana. It's not the kind of marijuana one smokes. I think it comes in some type of liquid form. I'm not really sure. Anyway, I mostly wanted to simply say hello & wish you the best...
