I can relate so much to all the clumsiness and issues with losing grip and amplified pain.
I do think when we have any kind of neuropathy and have an injury, the pain is definitely amplified.
I also have fallen on stairs and over door steps and almost daily, because of the neuropathy in my right arm and hand, I drop mugs and glasses and silverware and I have to be very careful about slicing veggies with sharp knives because I have done a lot of damage in the kitchen as well.
HB,
That is quite an injury you sustained. I don't know if you are on any meds for neuropathy but if you are, maybe you can increase them a bit to help soften the neuropathy pain. I also find, and it may be just me, but if I eat certain foods, especially various spices like black pepper, cayenne or whole mustard seed, my neuropathy really amplifies.,
My best,
D.
