Default MS Differential Diagnosis--Krabbe?

I've been looking into Krabbe disease, which runs in my family. My father's final years were plagued by dementia, ataxia, and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. He died in 2006. His brain was preserved for science.

My daughter was diagnosed with MS which presented with tonic clonic seizure when she was twenty.

Neither of their doctors ruled out Krabbe Disease, as far as I recall. I do know it's in my family, because one of my cousins gave birth to a daughter with the infantile form. Her parents were consanguinous. She died under two years of age.

At the time my father and daughter began experiencing neurological problems, I was not aware of Adult Onset Krabbe, or I would have requested more follow-up.

I wonder how to go about getting tested for Krabbe. My genes have been tested before, because I've had some bizarre medical conditions like some sort of glucocorticoid disorder, cause still unknown, and a venous cerebral hemorrhage, also idiopathic.

Any suggestions about how to untangle this medical conundrum are welcome!
