Arctic Ice 'Cap'
Arctic Sea Ice News and Analysis | Sea ice data updated daily with one-day lag

Today three areas appear to be liberated from the central region but I suppose they remain connected via wet or under water ice . . . such ice must be at the minimum freezing point, implying rapidly melting. So, is there more or less danger than 2012 . . . the year of the least amount of satellite apparent ice?
