anything that works your neck muscles or traps is likely to cause more occipital area inflamation. for me, no more bent over lateral raises, standing lateral raises, over head presses, upright rows, etc. I have proven this out...one by one...even time on my indoor cycle trainer requires upright position (and still feels weird)
