I have a minor shoulder injury from a fall in 2001 that is not going away. I also was just diagnosed with Rheumtiod Arthritis and the pain in my index fingers kills me at times. And so on...

While I can't totally blame the RSD for all of the aches, it does seem that I am now less tolerant, whereas I used to be more immune to pain.

"Junk", you could be experiencing something like this as well. Ada suggested sciatia, and where other folks would simply do a morning stretch and move on, it stays with you.

Just my totally non-medical observation....

Hope you can get a handle on this.

I can totally relate. My dogs tail is a whip and before it would slightly hurt, but ever since getting RSD it hurts on the most extreme level. Also, my pain tolerance level has been affected all over my body. I have RSD in my R.knee, however, I can get hurt/bumped/etc. anywhere else and the pain just doesn't feel right. It's always too much for something I used to be able to withstand. I have heard that it's just due to the fact that even though the nerves are mainly affected in the injury site (if you're not full body) your nerves all over become more sensitive.

Desi: I am doing good. I am now back down to vicodin level, happy happy joy joy. The best part is I am actually going into the living room to sit and not laying in my bed ALL day. That is a plus. I have also been starting one or two loads of laundry. Not overdoing it though.

How about you? Feeling better since the wedding?

Hugs.
