Default Magnesium Deficiency and Formation of Cataracts

Effect of magnesium deficiency on intracellular ATP levels in human lens epithelial cells. - PubMed - NCBI

Some friends on other health boards are discussing cataracts and all the surgeries that are performed for decades. I know my parents had no clue about magnesium and both had cataract surgeries.

I've been taking magnesium for decades and was told about 20 yrs ago I had "cloudy" film on my eyes and so far I'm good at 78. No Surgery and don't want any if I can help it.

So now MY thinking and theory is if everyone were Optimal with magnesium just MAYBE they can be saved from cataract surgery. My thinking.

Our soils are so deficient and magnesium deficiency is a big issue and SO MANY don't have a clue on this.

I take at least 400mg daily and often more.
