i think i'm missing something here, if you don't mind me asking. otherwise my memory is bad. what was worrisome about your GS? was he sick?
your trip sounds great. i'm glad you had such a good one.
i live in NE FL. we got rain and winds yesterday and today (fri). now it's 5pm and sunny. whew.
