Not sick per say, but came back from a 10 month stint with his father looking like a starving child from Ethiopia. He honestly could have been a poster child for the Feed The Children ads. You could count all his ribs just by lifting his shirt, his chest was sunken, cheeks hollow, could easily see his collarbone, no real "flesh" on his arms or legs, just disgustingly skinny and half starved. it's only been about a month since and with 6 small meals a day he has put on considerable weight, grown a bit taller, and now has the energy of about 5 four year old little boys rather than the one that he is.

He wasn't just starved of food, but of rules and attention given how he acts. It's downright criminal and I hope my daughter listened and documented his condition so that she can keep him from returning to such an environment. He's going to the doctor Monday, now that he has a few good meals under his belt just to make sure no harm was done in the 10 months of neglect.
