Default Needing some prayers please

My uncle is currently in the hospital. He went in to have a bit of a delicate procedure on an artery very close to his heart. The procedure seemed to have gone off without a hitch and he was starting to recovery, but during recovery he developed pneumonia. They were forced to put him on a ventilator which my uncle tried to fight them on until the doctors told him without it he would be dead in a matter of hours. That was yesterday morning, and by last night they found blood in his lungs on top of the pneumonia. So they stopped all the blood thinners.

We are now in the waiting game. It will take at least a few days to see if there is any improvement, but might take less than that if he is sliding downward. He is in the medical void where doctors really can't say if he'll make it long enough to improve, and without the blood thinners there remains possibility of blood clots giving him a stroke or stopping his heart, but they didn't have a choice about stopping them or his lungs would have filled with blood and it wouldn't matter.

I am very grateful that I was able to make the trip to NH and introduce the GBs to him, but I'm also very greedy and want to see him again next year. Even as much as I love NH I also really don't want to make a return trip this soon under such circumstances. Which doesn't mean I won't likely be making a return trip soon if he recovers fully, I'm going to go give him heck for scaring the crap out of me, his sister, his brother and his husband. He's going to get an earful that's for sure, so I'm just praying he recovers well and quickly so I can go give it to him.
