It has calmed down a little, but still there. I just can't hold anything in the left hand, which being a lefty is difficult. But also I have a hard time using my wheelchair now. I think I will have to go to Jacksonville to see the neuro as the soonest I could get my six month follow up was in November. She booked solid up here, but might be able to see me sooner in JAX or Gainesville so a 1-1.5 hour drive . And I truly hope this is neurological and not the thyroid... Well unless it's the one that makes you skinny , I could stand to lose a few pounds and a shaky arm seems like a fair trade off right now.

But at least my right arm has returned to mostly functional... It won't ever be fully functional for me I don't think, it works mostly as a decorative appendage to make me look even. I have always had the worst coordination with it, can't write with it, lucky if I can open a door with it, and drop things about 50% of the time if holding in the right hand, I just kind of forget to keep a hold of things with it and it just lets go. It really is useless and has been my whole life, though I've had the nerves tested and they're fine, the muscles are fine, it's just the brain that could care less about the right arm. I've even done OT for it when I was a kid and nothing, zero improvement even though there's nothing physically wrong with the arm, and it does move, grasp and everything an arm is supposed to do, it's not paralyzed just doesn't like to play nice. It's even worse than most righties trying to use their left hand.

I mean it won't even behave during the strength test with the neuro.. She'll say to push upward and it takes at least two or three tries for it to push upwards as it tries to go down... Push inward and it tries to go outward... Doesn't matter that I know what she's wanting it to do, it tries to do the opposite every time until I can get it to listen to me, then the strength is just fine and dandy, it just has a mind of its own sometimes
