Default Would they love to think you don't know

Having to meet the principal
And dealing with the forms
Again
Again the young teacher did not understand
I can or will not agree to certain requests the board of Ed would like to insist I fill out the lunch form to ask very personal questions
And it goes on to tell me I can opt not to put my SS#
Like I haven't gone through this same problem times four
Point
A second form sent home with a note
For the state
A
Survey
I have always opted out of such things
Again I have to explain
WHY I opt out
My children along with my grandchild
Is sent with a lunch
And I was told the first four days that the teacher discouraged her to eat her lunch from home and to eat the school lunch
Well as a result one afternoon last week all she had was mash potatoes
UNEXCEPTABLE
I don't get it
What part of my English expression
She is NOT eating the school lunch
And to find another way for a survey
I refuse to give out my personal information such as income
Almost embarrassed
Having to retire at such an early age
If I wrote poor across the board
is my business
If I want the help I will ask for it
Don't shove it down my throat
And there needs to be MUCH MORE IMPROVEMENT what is presented to the children
A communal setting does not sit well I have seen hygiene issues
Many do NOT follow clean habits
I speak of the adults
So lets see what happens today
I already made it clear about her eating her own lunch
In writing
A copy for myself
I take their career of schooling seriously the most important is to be a happy and an adventurous process
Memories
I still remember who made a difference in MY life
They were very special teachers
I would hope Eva enjoys going to school
Children can be cruel
They come into the world innocent
We already addressed her sad tears when she stops to think about me and Corissa
She picked a shell
I wrote on the underside of it
Our names with heart balloons
Put a shinny string through it
Made a necklace
This
when she is sad
It helped
She made sure we did not forget to put it on this morning
We did homework
Because Eva did not go to per-k
There are some simple things
Such as her writing her name on the PROVIDED LINE
Hers is suspended in air
Can you get the picture
She knows how to spell her entire name
Yet a simple thing such as on the line provided
She loves coming home and is happy
This is what I am interested in
her happiness first
Let this now not be a tug of war with this stupid form
Oh if they only really did something about hunger in this
the richest country in the world
And the children ARE hungry
Or better yet
The parents WHO depend on the system to take care of them
It is for the ones who really need it and don't get it

I always made my childrends lunches
And fed them breakfast every morning
I was home from work at six in the morning
Down to their vitamins
Did not miss a beat
Then seventeen years later after just going through it with my three eldest children
My angel
Corissa
And now Eva
With Corissa
I made an extra lunch
Identical for a child that loved her lunches
Did this for many years
They started first grade together
And just to throw into the pot
How can one know how to speak the English language
if it isn't PRACTICED
by the employees of the board if education and among themselves
Any city, county, state job should there be any other language spoken and among others like teachers lunch helpers
teachers helpers
The adults
I do not want to hear a security guard speak over the walkie talkie in any other language then English
In addition to that comment
I entered this country in 1966
When I started school there wasn't anybody to teach me English language
A proud United State citizen
I am of Hungarian culture my lineage
Eva is taught Hungarian
My parents entered into this country in 1966
as it is a lost practice to learn like my parents
Practice
The never went to school
Point
They were able to communicate with society
I began to speak it by practicing
This was very difficult going back home to speak another language
It was tough
My mother still writes phonetically
Writes it as she hears it
The simple way
Really
Why do we need the letters ph only to sound like this letter f
Now we are so overwhelmed with the pie changing
And we are predominantly in a Hispanic area
Across the country
Having third generation in this country and a kindergartener does not speak a word if English
Wrong
Point
What does that have to do with school
It is only in this community of persons
Where things are written in English and Spanish
How does that help one have the incentive to learn
My father had it difficult
He could speak it and two other languages
As did my mother
They met in a refugee camp in South Africa
This is where me and my middle sister were born
You read right
I was born in South Africa
Was five when entering this country
I drives me nuts
Going through it with Corissa because her skin color is that beautiful all year around tan was spoken to in Spanish
Her father is of Hispanic background
when her career with the school
adults that were and still are municipal board if education employees must speak English first and in all general areas
Such as the principals office
Or any office for that matter
Corissa would be spoken to in Spanish as THEY
just assumed
I think I got my point across
We have a voice
Use it or loose it
Just saying
Me
