Mari

I know the reason's for your sleep are a lot different than my son's were.

But I would also keep a diary like of times and amounts you take the
Ritalin.

For some reason when my middle son was on it. He would talk all night
till 1 or 2am. If we didn't give him anything at bedtime.
Since it didn't matter to his energy the next day and my other son could
sleep through it, when he was already asleep. We didn't worry.

Till one day I made a mistake of giving the night dose of ritilan, it was for
homework. And wasn't too be given after 6:00pm because it could
keep him up longer. But one night with getting home about 6:30 and
needing to do lots of homework. I broke the doctor's rule.
He not only got homework done by 9:00pm. But went right to sleep
when I put him to bed. First time probably in his life, except maybe as
a baby.

So I went ahead because we had an appointment in like 2 weeks. And started
giving it at 6:15 or 6:30. And it worked. I had to tell the doctor this.
Worried he would get mad at me. He just looked in amazement at me.
And said, keep it up.
