Hello friends. Maybe you are all familiar with "Metanx", but I just came across it in my travels. I know Mrs. D has commented on it in other threads, but I don't recall seeing any mention of it in this thread.

It seems to do a pretty good job in promoting nerve regeneration in animals and does reasonably well in reducing symptoms in humans. I know, I thought "Why Haven't I Heard Of This???" I also did a search on PubMed and found good stuff. It is a prescription and my doc has called it in for me. But I believe, and Mrs. D can correct me here, this formulation is a combination of 3 OTC active forms of folate, and vitamins b6 and b12. It appears you can buy the ingredients OTC instead of getting the Metanx script. If this works as well as it seems then the only reason I know that we havent heard of it , is that it is simply a precise formulation of certain vitamins. Anyone have any more info? Mrs. D? Just google "metanx" or put same in the search function of Pubmed.
