I came upon side effect of "aerophagia" that can occur as a result from swallowing air from the cpap when using a full face mask....this causes very uncomfortable symptoms...belching & other from the intestines ( did not want to get too graphic but you know what I mean).

Yes I had it with a nasal mask, not a full face mask. It happened even before I fell asleep. Only when on my side. EXTREMELY painful gas. It's unfortunate because I sleep best on my side otherwise.
It can be alleviated by changing position, or changing your pressure. I think lowering the pressure can help if you want to try it yourself, otherwise I would ask your doctor
