Hi Destineerowe1,

If your daughter isn't sleeping well you may want to ask the neuro to do a sleep study on her along with an e.e.g. at the same time. By doing this they will be able to tell if she's having seizures in her sleep and if she has a sleep disorder like sleep apnea that can sometimes lead to seizures. I had this test done and I found out I was having seizures in my sleep but I didn't realize it.
Ask your daughter if she feels really tired in the morning or during the day this could be a sign of a sleep disorder.
Also if you daughter is having seizures in her sleep or when she first gets up in the morning she may be having myoclonic seizures. I had these for a short time and they stopped after my Dr. put me on vimpat.
