Maybe your very regular checking of your daughter relates to the fact that you both had a difficult time during her birth.

I suggest that you see a clinical psychologist who has experience of working with mothers of young children about this.

What you have described may or may not indicate OCD but a good clinical psychologist should be able to suggest constructive strategies for dealing with your thoughts and actions.
