I will say that for me, I found out the hard way about exercise. Pushing myself to the max (for a road race) put me back with the exact same symptoms I had a few weeks after concussion, and those symptoms lasted quite a while.
Now I have gradually worked my way back into getting used to running. I don't push myself for a race much more than the pace where I train at.
I hope that you are able to get back to doing something you love. I just suggest you be smart about it.
