I can say I prefer cold/cool weather to the hot. The hot makes me feel more tired after the same activity level than cooler temps.

One thing to watch for is sun exposure. Some of the drugs we take have warnings about sun exposure, make sure you use sunscreen.

Good luck, i miss skiing. Since moving from Wyoming to Arizona 30 years ago, I haven't been on the slopes. I used to enjoy it a lot. <sigh>
