We are clearly over 70 patients who have exceeded the upper level life expectancy threshold, whereas 36 (20%) or so would be expected in a set of nearly 180 patients. More cases will develop as many of the patients could not reach the threshold yet but are clearly on their way. The lead research teams journal papers indicated the slope of the Forced Vital Capacity curve decreased by about fifty-percent, implying life expectancy might double under the treatment. This 'result' is very consistent with the inference - twenty-six patients already were over the maximum expectancy and at least forty-four have crossed over. Several others are close to doing so. This dataset clearly will appear efficacious upon completion.
