Question Food Problems

Hey all! I don't recognize any names but I've been on the board for years, just haven't posted in forever.

So, as I used to do, I'm coming to the source to see if anyone can help and share experiences. This is a recent but not recent issue. Not recent because I had a reaction to white meat pork about a year after I got RSD. The recent has escalated. In the last few months I began to notice I would feel weird after eating meat. It covers dark meat pork now and also hamburger and steak. Chicken doesn't cause me any problems. Not sure about bacon or ham but I'm wary about trying now.

It's hard to describe how I feel after eating meat but I'll do my best. First it is a feeling of being a bit disconnected between brain and body about half an hour to an hour after eating. Then mouth gets dry. Next is a lightheaded, dizzy feeling. I don't have an upset tummy really but I don't feel right either and no appetite. It lasts between 2 and 3 or 4 hours. This last weekend I had pork fried rice only dark meat. Are no more than usual in it which was about quarter of a cup and no more than half a cup.

It was the worst I've ever felt. It hit me hard with all the symptoms above with severe tiredness and weakness tossed in this time. I slept off and on for about 10 hours. Through Saturday and Sunday I continued feeling very weak, tired, drained, no energy at all and still a bit of lightheaded and brain/body disconnect. Monday was better with just a slight but of weakness and being a bit more tired than usual.

So....am I alone with this or has anyone had this happen to them too? I've never in my life had a food allergy and can only imagine it's somehow connected to RSD. Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone is having low pain days.
