Medical News Today report [1].

"blocking an enzyme called prolyl oligopeptidase clears the mice's brains of an accumulated protein that is the hallmark of [PD], halts further brain damage, and corrects movement impairment."

Some botanicals inhibit prolyl oligopeptidase, for instance [2]:
- baicalin;
- berberine.

In a 2012 post to this forum, wxxu mentions taking baicalin in Chinese Skullcap. [3]. I'd be grateful for an update, please, wxxu.
