I'm sorry that your daughter is struggling. I don't know what her behavior is like, or if she is/isn't an ungrateful child, but it's very difficult to remain positive when you have bipolar disorder. I hope that she's getting the care that she needs, and in time feels comfortable enough to talk to you directly about her feelings. Sometimes it's difficult to understand some things a loved one with bipolar disorder may do, especially if they won't talk to you about it
