You are getting treatment for it, Bobby. It's just hard to treat effectively. You can always talk to your pdoc about trying something new or doing more to get your depression under better control.

My husband flips out if one of the cats bites, or tries to, bite him.

What Abby is doing sounds like typical kitten behavior. You are doing the right thing by withdrawing your hand so that she doesn't bite or scratch when she gets older because she view hands as toys. It seems like she may need to play more. If you're not up to doing it often right now, you can buy her some solo cat toys.
