What is 'burning'? My feet are often ice cold to the touch,, but my experience of them is of burning, or something like burning. This is my PN which is profound.
I think this experience is very different for each person.
My small fiber neuropathy (damage to the nerves of my skin) feels quite different. It feels like a very bad sunburn, with stinging, itching and stabbing pains, as well. This involves my scalp, face, eyes lips, tongue, mouth, neck, ear, arms, hands, fingers, and palms.
Gabapetin just about stops my SFN. My PN is profound and cannot be affected by anything. There are three major nerves in my legs and two of them have no reaction and the third is severely damaged.
