Default Chorea

Hello, My 10 yr old son with ASD went to the Neurologist last week, and they think he might have something called Corhea, which is a movement disorder. I never noticed any problems with his movements until the Neurologist had him hold out his hands and I noticed they were moving a lot . I've been researching it a lot and some of the causes seem quite scary. He had a brain MRI last week and the results said he has a slightly decreased size of his cerebellum. I asked the Dr. if this could be related to the Chorea but he said it wasn't. He still has to have blood work as well as see a Cardiologist, Ophthalmologist, and Genetics Dr. to rule out other causes. I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this with their kids , or if anyone has any idea of what may be causing this.

Thank you!
-Christina
