Nuts are great for snacking if you don't go overboard (like my husband does). I love almonds. I bought a bag a couple of weeks ago and they were gross... I didn't realize they were seasoned. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any without seasoning since.
Pistachios are my husband's favorite, cashews are mine.
The South Beach Diet, which IS restrictive, recommends servings of 15 almonds, 30 pistachios, and 15 cashews.
