Default Slightly Off topic: MIT researchers use flickering lights in Alzheimer's research

It doesn't translate perfectly to concussions, but it is interesting nonetheless.

I tried looking at a 40hz LED and I must say it has a soothing quality about it. They are classified as gamma waves, which according to a popular theory, gamma waves may be implicated in creating the unity of conscious perception.
