I have confirmed small fiber neuropathy by biopsy and wanted to ask the group a question (responding either publically or by private message, either is fine and immensely appeciated).

I am trying my best to investigate the cause of my neuropathy. My concern began in my reddened and sensitive palms. Now, a year and a half later I have penile sensory loss.

Has anyone else here experienced this loss of sensation? Last fall, at the height of my anxiousness and wprry, I was getting numb sensations on my scalp, my lips and would get so scared it felt as if I was watching my life as if it were a movie. Luckily, that subsided, feeling regained and I am hoping this follows the same course. All other functions remain the same. The sensory loss doesn't make sense in the length dependent small fiber neuropathy format.

I am completely alcoohol free now, though suspect alcohol to be the cause.
