Dear Madelyn,

I read your post today with much heartfelt sadness this morning. My sincerest condolences to you, your children and your extended family on your loss. This is just another sad reminder to all of us that, although we've come along way over the past decade, we still have further to go to defeat this awful disease.

Thank you for all of your most insightful, intelligent and thought-stimulating posts over the years.

Sincerely,

Gary
