im type 2. i basically limit my meals to 20 to 55 carbs per. whole grain breads. the higher the whole grain count the better. i usually eat breakfast n lunch. i eat plenty of fish as well for the protein. red meats included. i dont fry that much anymore. i have a nuwave oven so i usually bake now. i can cook a frozen 1" tbone med rare in about 25-30 mins. if i dont eat dinner which i rarely do i just drink a bottle or two of glucerna shakes (they come in the short blue bottles not the taller green ones) the green bottle types taste like chalk lol
