It is a small 6 or 8 man boat going from Singapore to Washington state.

Usually he works as mate on a tugboat in the inland waterways on the U.S.
For this trip the company needs him as mostly the cook.
(They sent him to school -- besides cooking he has to know how to do the ordering, and follow safety guidelines, and such.)
He has food ready four times a day -- apparently the guys
can eat a midnight "snack."

He served a leg of lamb at Easter.

Today on FB, he sent me a picture of breakfast: Waffles, sliced apples, his homemade whipped cream.

This is the bipolar/manic/sometimes angry at the world brother who has had a hard life. He is finally settling down.
The owner of the company absolutely loves my brother and has been moving him up the ladder.
