its another term for prilosec otc. its used mainly for heartburn related issues. gerd can also trigger pvcs/palps. gerd - gastro esophegal reflux disease, sometimes called acid reflux. palps can be caused by alot of issues. stress, acid reflux, etc. everyone gets them, its just that some ppl feel them easier than others.
