When I wake up in the morning, I feel like I was hit by a truck.

I drink black tea at breakfast &, as the morning wears on, I begin to feel a bit more "normal". By around noon, I'm in about as good shape as I'm probably going to be. Fortunately I'm retired so I don't have to "function". But even years ago, when I was working, I felt more-or-less the same. I was just younger then & better able to fight through it. Sorry... I can't speak to the idea of taking an Excedrin.
