Regarding aneurysms, they are usually asymptomatic unless the bulge is pressing on areas in the brain. A ruptured aneurysm can be fatal. You may wish to see a specialist to rule this out or receive treatment, especially if there is a family history of cardio vascular disease.
Thank you for the warm welcome.

I haven't received medical care for quite some time on this issue. I was basically told at my last visit, that these pains could persist indefinitely and if I were ever to experience any of these quick headaches that exceeds the normal pain to schedule an appointment again. Which it has been. But my doctor dosent let me know, per lameness terms, of what is going on. What are these quick headaches called? Why does the cold water of the most recent headache seem to help taper it back untill it has ceased? Are there any herbal supplements that can reduce the severity? (That last question may be totally benign.)

Has anyone heard of a case similar to mine?

Any insight is appreciated.

The questions that you asked me were really helpful to get the information out. I'm not exactly sure on what information that I could give would be relevant. So the questions really help.

Thank you again.
