What is possible when a male takes extra testosterone to improve libido or whatever (called Low-T in the US), is that this is an imperfect solution because doctors cannot balance doses perfectly to each patient's needs, and have to rely on what the drug companies make only.

This was a huge industry...when it began. TV ads were frequent and the demand was high. The body building community is heavily into androgen supplements. You might consider looking at some of the busy bodybuilding forums on the net.

But... after all the dust cleared men started having more heart attacks and strokes. This was tied to the testosterone being used late in life.

So using any testosterone booster, herbal or not, may result in surprises and sudden death down the road. It is your choice to consider if using this herb is worth it.

This antsy feeling could be this: akathisia
Medical Definition of Akathisia

This symptom is also present in those taking psychiatric drugs...
amphetamines (ADHD), atypical antipsychotics (bipolar, schizophrenia), SSRIs (Depression, chronic pain).
If your side effect of restlessness and needing to move around, is this ...that would suggest that this herb is affecting serotonin in the brain. So I would look up serotonin syndrome, and familiarize yourself with its symptoms, as it can sneak up on people.

Herbs in general are difficult to standardize, and since this one is not really common, batches of it may vary. Also there is a history in China and could be with your country too, of manufacturers adulterating herbs with real drugs to give them a punch and so the users would feel "something" and think the herb is working for them. Another example is toxins. A popular herb from India called gugulipid, was found to have lead in it not long ago, and is much less popular now.

So.... these are just some of the issues, that make using this herb possibly problematic. You can do what you want of course, but I feel compelled to say more when you then try to get others to experiment here with it.
