Many people on NT use magnesium, including me.

Here is my magnesium thread: I know it is long so do it a bit at a time.

Aim for 1/2 the RDA which is about 200mg elemental, daily.
The easiest form is SlowMag (its generic is Mag 64). Use one twice a day. (one of them at bedtime)

MAGNESIUM Information:

Most people do not consume enough magnesium daily and then have scary warnings from the body and brain to increase it.

There are many sites on the net now (not so much when I started that thread) explaining magnesium. Avoid the OXIDE form as it is not absorbed from the GI tract and is sold now as a laxative.

It is amazing how much better one can feel by fixing this one nutrient.
I have Mag Citrate gelcaps. 250mg. Right now I got a 20 pill supply of ativan. Because at around 10pm last night I was having a serious anxiety/panic attack. Probably because of the sleep disorder I still have (the waking up nearly 1-2 hours everytime) and worrying that I will have trouble falling back to sleep afterwards. I was shaking violently in bed and crying last night. I went to the 1st ER around 1030pm last night wasnt seen for over 2 hours. My attacks were getting worse waiting there so I decided to walk out because I couldnt take it anymore. I drove back home around 1245am and got home around 115am. When I got home I decided to try and go to sleep. Fast foward to shortly before 5am this morning Im up and I look at the clock and I cant even remember if I had slept any at all because I was still groggy and my brain wasnt working right. Then my 2nd serious attack happened shortly after 5am this forced me to go to a different ER where they actually attended to me in 15-20mins.
