Gum wasn't as red as it was last time and he said there is granulation tissue, though there was an indentation in the gum.

He put my mind at rest so that was great as I am a naturally born worrier.

I have noticed it is healing but not closed yet. The other day I thought it was closed but then when I did my daily inner mouth photo (yeah I know, a bit geeky and obsessed) there was a bit of food stuck in there blocking the hole. Out with the salt water gentle rinse.

Peroxyl made by Colgate works wonders for mouth sores or issues from dental procedures. I have used Peroxyl for years since I have had so many crowns/caps/bridges done in the past/present. Also use a few times a week to keep gums healthy.
