Thanks Tupe for the update. seems as though there is plethora of diabetes drugs being researched now for treating PD. Another diabetes drug being investigated that I reccently discovered is intranasal insulin. Maybe some of you folks are knowledgable about this one. Novolin R is a type of insulin being invesigated.
It bypasses the blood stream and crosses the BBB where it is taken up by insulin receptors in the brain. Its being investigated for treatment of Asheimer's disease and MSA as well. It's inexpensive and available now.
