OMG! I am so excited! I just sent off a requested material package to this agent in New York! I queried her YESTERDAY and she liked my story so much that she replied before lunch today! I just had to share with you since you know how disappointed I was about not getting that grant, well this could lead to a relationship with a good agent and that is almost as good as money in the bank.

At least in my mind it is, I mean she's asked for a synopsis (which I had prepared) and the first 50 pages along with a small cover letter. I took about an hour and got it all ready to send off and then did it so she's probably reading it now! I am so excited!

Wish me luck everyone, it's just got to happen for me. I feel good about this agent and hope she likes what she sees.
