Choose your first surgeon carefully b/c redo or biterally/otherside is not possible
This has not been said on here. Many people who likes to go get second opinion are fine to do so but once you choose a surgeon that is it. You will be stuck. I am having this problem right now. Without going into too much details at the moments. I have seen Thompson St. Louis, UCLA Gelabert, AHN UVA, Azizzadeh Cedar Sinai, Lee Standford, Angle, Weaver NorCal, Matabifahd LA,
You guys have no idea what going on behind the scene. It's a small field. A little about myself. Never sued anyone. Had nerve damage after TOS surgery which required redo. Surgeon then told me to go the other side else where due to inconfident. So my quest began. Once every surgeon saw my scar and saw that I was already worked on in surgery by other surgeon. They knew that I was super knowledgeable thanks to this site. They all say no to me. They don't call me back for follow up, some won't give me appointment, and one doctor just straight up lied in the record saying I have no cervical rib. When another hospital found cervical rib and aneurysm. I wasted 3 years seeing all of these physicians just for them to tell me no. I keep getting worst. I went from my cardiologist saying why am I here I have perfect heart and clear me, to now she said there is regurgitation of flow directly blocked behind cervical rib and have skin "bed sore" lesion around the area.
I didn't know that was possible in the USA to no help a patient especially when I honor doctors and never sue. I think of my situation as it is what it is and I was graceful that I am lucky to be US citizen and have access to these doctors and have PPO and resources to pay my bill. I am emotional rekt and baffled by this.
