Most of the antidepressents cause problems for men sexually. Talk to the doc about getting on one that isn't a seritonin reuptake inhibitor.
It's a good idea to keep a drug log because most people wind up on a lot of drugs with this condition. It's important to remember which you've tried and to be able to identify the side effects. If a drug isn't helping talk to the doc about getting off of it right away.
Most long term sufferers have to find a combination of drugs that works for them. After nine years, I'm still not quite there yet. The condition has gotten steadily worse I think but my ability to deal with it and to find the right drugs has improved.
