Welcome to Neurotalk.

You can find info on those drugs yourself. Most people do not realize this.

Type into Google... "drugs that can cause nerve damage" into the search there.

Most chemo agents can damage nerves. Depending on the dose used and length of time a patient uses them, the damage may be temporary or permanent.

Also if you drink and/or smoke you lower your threshold to damage. We all have a given level of safety depending before damage becomes apparent or permanent.

Drugs Causing Peripheral Neuropathy - Medications List
This is the first result of a search I just did from that Google keyword search I put up here in this posting..

Typically we all have alot of nerves in the body and each person will react to a damaging substance in a different way since alcohol, nutrient deficiences, lifestyle, smoking and exposure to toxins in the home, and at work, all factor into damaging them. Once you hit the level that produces symptoms, the nerve damage becomes apparent.

Doctors do not always know everything. And also they often do not share severe side effects of drug therapies because they think the patient may refuse the treatment.
